Most Prague vacation rentals are apartments, sleeping anywhere from 2 to 6. The prices are also quite varied. You can rent a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in the city center for a low 46.00 EUR per night. If you’re feeling in need of a bit of luxury you can rent a 3 bedroom and 2.5 baths for 275.00 EUR per night.

The real advantage to Prague vacation rentals is that tourists will find themselves able to hop on a bus, hire a car or even walk to the various museums, palaces, and towers that abound in this city. Even better, take a SEGWAY, those two-wheeled vehicles you ride standing up as it zips you around on a tour of the city.

Speaking of palaces, there are five distinct and historical palaces and castles located in Prague. The first is the Prague Castle dating back to the year 870. Then there’s the Old Royal Palace, the Royal Summer Palace, the Lobkowicz Palace and the New Royal Palace.

For the history buff, Prague offers numerous museums and galleries to fill every waking moment of this historical city. Museums like the Jewish Museum, the National Museum, Museum of Military History, and Museum of Decorative Arts are just a few of the museums open to visitors. If you like art the National Gallery, the Fine Arts Museum and the Prague Castle Gallery are just three of Prague’s galleries.

A few of the other Prague attractions you might find interesting when you leave your choice of Prague vacation rentals are: the Charles Bridge, the Old Jewish Quarter and the National Theatre. There are also the Old Town Square, the Prague State Opera House and the Prague Castle Complex.

Don’t forget to visit the Bethlehem Chapel, the St. Agnes Convent and the St. Vitus Cathedral. If you are a lover of freedom make sure you visit the Museum of Communism to see what life was like in Czechoslovakia under the Communist regime.
